1/8 Scale 17mm Hex RC Truck Tires and Wheels Set (4pcs)
What caught my eye was how well these RC truck tires were reviewed for Traxxas Maxx, E-Revo, and JLB Cheetah. I was specifically looking to replace my worn-out stock tires on a Revo 3.3 build, and the aggressive tread pattern, pre-glued convenience, and rugged off-road capability sealed the deal.
The tires arrived in 15 days — not lightning-fast, but reasonable for AliExpress. They were well-packed, with no warping or chemical odor, which was a relief. Once mounted, they immediately impressed me on both dirt and asphalt. The traction is noticeably improved compared to stock Traxxas tires, especially when cornering hard or doing high-speed runs on loose terrain.
Pros: ✔ Grippy tread design that works great for bashing ✔ Already glued to the wheels — saves time ✔ Fits perfectly on 17mm hex hubs ✔ Cheaper than US brands like Pro-Line or Duratrax
Cons: ✘ A bit heavier than expected — might stress the drivetrain over time ✘ One tire was slightly out of balance
When I compared the $35 price tag with U.S. options ($55–$70 for similar sets), it was a no-brainer. These tires met — and honestly exceeded — my expectations. Great value for the performance they deliver.

Aluminum 17mm Splined Wheel Hex Hub Nuts (4-Pack)
I picked these up to match the tire upgrade above — I didn’t want plastic hubs stripping under load anymore. These aluminum hex nuts looked like they could handle some abuse.
Delivery was about two weeks. The anodized red finish looks sharp and clean. The splined edges gave a much better grip when torquing them down, and once in place, there was zero wobble. I tested them on both the E-Revo and Slayer Pro 4×4. Flawless.
Pros: ✔ Precision-machined with perfect tolerances ✔ Better grip and fit than OEM plastic parts ✔ High durability under stress
Cons: ✘ Slightly more bulky than stock, may interfere with some narrow rims ✘ Threads are a little tight out of the package — use anti-seize
At $7–$8, they’re significantly cheaper than similar Traxxas 5353R kits from US hobby shops, which go for $18+. They do exactly what they’re meant to do. Satisfied.

TRINOOD Steel Main Spur Gears (36/38/40T)
These were a must-buy for fine-tuning the gear ratio on my brushless E-Revo conversion. Having all three gear sizes in one pack gave me flexibility without committing to just one setup.
Shipping was under 2 weeks, and each gear came in separate packaging, which kept them from scratching each other. The steel is solid — not soft alloy. I’ve tested all three on separate runs, and the mesh with the pinion is tight and clean.
Pros: ✔ True steel — not soft pot metal ✔ No warping even under high RPM loads ✔ Fit perfectly on my 1/8 Revo slipper
Cons: ✘ Slightly louder than stock plastic gears ✘ No screws included
In U.S. stores, a single steel spur can run $12–$18. Here I got three for about $15 total. Definitely exceeded expectations in terms of machining quality and durability.
US $4.13

AXSPEED Slipper Clutch Eliminator Adapter
I wanted to eliminate the slipper clutch on my E-Maxx to push more torque directly to the drivetrain for speed runs. This adapter seemed like a good low-cost upgrade.
Arrival took about 18 days. The part looked well-machined, anodized black, and it fit directly where the slipper assembly used to go. After some Loctite on the threads, it held firm. The power delivery now feels immediate — no delay on throttle punch.
Pros: ✔ Lightweight and tough ✔ No slip under acceleration ✔ Direct fit replacement
Cons: ✘ Increases drivetrain stress — better for speed runs than bashing ✘ Slight whine at high RPMs
At $9, it’s a steal compared to similar U.S. eliminators which often start at $20+. It did what it promised. Just be aware: you’re trading in slipper protection for raw power.
US $1.12

Brushless Motor Mount Bracket for Revo 2.5/3.3
For my brushless conversion, I needed a reliable and adjustable motor mount. The bracket caught my attention with its reinforced build and sliding slot design for easy gear mesh adjustment.
Delivery took about 2 weeks. The mount feels very solid in hand — not the cheap cast stuff. Once installed, it lined up beautifully with the center shaft and transmission. I paired it with a 3670 motor, and it holds strong even during full-throttle launches.
Pros: ✔ Excellent build quality ✔ Plenty of adjustability ✔ Doesn’t flex under load
Cons: ✘ Mounting instructions would’ve helped ✘ Needed longer screws (not included)
For around $11, it’s way more affordable than American brands like Integy or Hot Racing, which price similar mounts at $25+. It’s a functional and affordable part that holds up under brushless abuse.
US $7.5

YEAHRUN Heavy Duty Slipper Eliminator Adapter
I bought this as a backup for my E-Revo build. It looked slightly more robust than the AXSPEED version and had better reviews.
This arrived surprisingly quickly — 12 days. It’s chunkier, made of thick aluminum, and the machining is clean. Installation was a 5-minute job, and it eliminated all throttle lag. In back-to-back tests with the AXSPEED, this one ran quieter and seemed better balanced.
Pros: ✔ Solid construction ✔ No vibration under load ✔ Slightly smoother than competitor models
Cons: ✘ Heavier, adds minor rotational mass ✘ Requires perfect alignment
It cost about $10, but quality-wise, it feels like a $25+ part. For bashers and speed run enthusiasts, this is a win.
US $6.5

Metal Extended 17mm Hex Hub Adapter (5353X)
My Revo has big tires, so I needed to widen the stance to reduce rollovers. These extended 17mm hex hubs promised an extra few millimeters of width without going crazy.
Shipping took 13 days. Each adapter looked great out of the box, no visible defects or play. Once installed, they provided a much more stable ride. They also reduce stress on the wheel bearings by spacing out the load.
Pros: ✔ Perfect for wider stance ✔ CNC precision ✔ Includes locking nuts
Cons: ✘ Wheel offset may look odd with smaller tires ✘ A bit more strain on suspension arms
At $8 for the full set, they’re at least half the price of U.S. options. And they actually work as intended. Happy with the purchase.
US $8.48

Slipper Pressure Plate & Clutch Pad Set (5351 & 5352)
I always keep a few of these clutch components on hand — they wear out over time. This set looked identical to OEM, so I gave it a try.
They arrived in 2 weeks. Fitment was perfect. The pressure plate was machined well with no burrs, and the clutch pad had the correct texture and size. I ran it through two full battery packs — no slipping and no heat warping.
Pros: ✔ Works like stock — maybe even better ✔ Ideal for rebuilds ✔ Budget-friendly
Cons: ✘ Packaging could’ve been better — just in a ziplock ✘ No instructions for beginners
At just $3–$4, it’s hard to beat. Traxxas parts in the U.S. can be 3x this price. It’s a simple but solid replacement kit.
US $17.13
Final Thoughts
Honestly, I’m a little surprised — all 8 products from AliExpress not only arrived in decent timeframes, but most were better than expected in terms of quality and fitment. The prices were far lower than what I’d pay at U.S. hobby shops, and not once did I feel like I got a “clone” part. If you’re into Traxxas upgrades and willing to wait a couple weeks, I absolutely recommend these. I’ll definitely be ordering more RC parts from AliExpress again.
