This “2025” edition intrigued me because it claimed an updated ROM list and UI. The seller described it as an “optimized flash chip for modern NES clones.”
Once I popped it in, I noticed the UI had a black background and improved game categorization. Nice touch! Games are still 8-bit classics, but I liked the added hacks.

I wanted a true flash-based Everdrive-style NES cart, and this N8 Remix version claimed to support 1000 titles with OS-based navigation.

This is one of those plug-and-play NES Mini clones with both AV and HDMI out. I bought it for travel and casual couch gaming.

I got this one to experiment with homebrew games. It’s an Everdrive knockoff but offers a very similar interface and OS. It also lets you manage your own ROMs.
It runs flawlessly with a TF card, and I love how easy it is to add or delete games. Works just like a Genesis flash cart I already own.

Cons: ❌ Doesn’t support Famicom games out of the box ❌ Needs FAT32 format only

Another updated variant with “2025” branding, this time in a black case. I bought it as a gift for a friend who just got a retro NES.
Performance-wise, very similar to earlier DUO versions, but this one had slightly more rare Japanese exclusives. UI is clean and easy to scroll.

Bought this mostly out of curiosity. It claimed “Super NESN8 FC support” and looked like an alternate N8 version with a different ROM set.
Surprisingly good interface, stable game performance, and most games booted fine. Definitely not as fancy as the real N8, but fun.
