Optimus Prime 30CM Alloy Action Figure
I’ve always been a fan of classic Transformers, and when I saw this large-size Optimus Prime 30CM Alloy Action Figure on AliExpress, I couldn’t pass it up. The product images looked promising — especially the mix of plastic and metal parts — and the reviews praised its quality, so I decided to take a chance.
What drew me in: The size (30 cm) and the alloy build were key. Many US-sold figures in this size range are mostly plastic and priced significantly higher. Also, I liked that it came boxed — great for collectors or gifting.
First impressions: The figure arrived well-packaged in a sturdy box. Delivery took about 15 days, which is faster than I expected for standard AliExpress shipping. Once unboxed, I was surprised by the solid weight. The transformation process was fairly smooth, though a couple of joints were a bit stiff at first. Paint application was clean, and the detailing exceeded expectations.
Pros: – Heavy alloy build feels premium – Impressive size and shelf presence – Transformation is intuitive with no need for instructions – Price is a steal compared to US versions
Cons: – Some tight joints need loosening – Packaging didn’t include English manual
Price comparison: This would easily be $60–$80 in the US. I paid less than half that on AliExpress.
Did it meet expectations? Yes — actually, it surpassed them. I wasn’t expecting such a high-end finish for this price.
US $39.35

TAIBA BMB 21CM Cool Truck Robot SS38
This TAIBA BMB 21CM Cool Truck Robot is modeled after Bumblebee’s SS38 mode, which I’ve always liked. It’s a more compact figure than Optimus, but the detailing is sharp.
Why I chose it: I was looking for a smaller display piece to pair with Prime. I liked the colors, and the price was hard to ignore. Reviewers were saying it looked and felt like a mini Masterpiece figure — I’d agree with that now.
Unboxing experience: Arrived bubble-wrapped inside a box with cool graphics. About a 2.5-week wait. The figure looks much more premium in person. Paint is vivid, and it transforms cleanly.
Pros: – High level of detail for 21 cm – Nice box and secure packaging – Great articulation for posing – Budget-friendly
Cons: – Plastic-only, no die-cast parts – Truck mode looks slightly less polished than robot mode
US comparison: Something this detailed from Hasbro or Takara would run at least $40–50. I paid under $20.
Worth it? Absolutely. The value here is off the charts.
US $8.27

Transformation 2.0 EC-01 Dino Red Dasher
The EC-01 Dino Red Dasher is a KO version of UniqueToys’ UT-R06, and if you know Transformers 3, you know this is based on Dino (Ferrari alt-mode). I was intrigued by how sleek the design looked and curious if the KO held up.
Why I bought it: The original is hard to find or very pricey. I didn’t want to spend over $100 on a figure I wasn’t sure I’d love.
In hand: The figure arrived in good shape, packed in a collector’s box. Took around 18 days. Build is mostly alloy, giving it heft. Transformation is complex but satisfying — no cheap-feeling joints.
Pros: – Stunning robot mode – Sturdy alloy parts – Faithful to the character’s sleek aesthetic – Excellent shelf presence
Cons: – No instructions included – A few sharp edges on the arms
Compared to US options: The KO here is less than one-third the price of the official UniqueToys figure. Honestly, it’s 85% as good.
Met expectations? More than met them — it’s easily one of my new favorite display pieces.
US $18.15

Pocket Toys PT05 Bruticus Combiner
I’m a sucker for combiners, and the PT05 Bruticus 5-in-1 Combiner looked too good to be true. I was a bit skeptical of the quality at first, but decided to gamble.
Why I went for it: It’s oversized, comes with all 5 Combaticons, and I loved the cartoon-accurate design. US sets like this are outrageously priced — this was under $50.
When it arrived: Took about 3 weeks. Everything was individually packed inside a large box. The bots can be displayed solo or as the giant Bruticus, and the combination mechanism works smoothly.
Pros: – Great paint apps – Massive when combined (~27 cm) – Each bot is fully transformable – Good articulation in combined form
Cons: – Some pegs are slightly loose – Instructions are unclear, so YouTube is your friend
Price comparison: Something like this would easily retail for $120–150 in the US. This one is budget-friendly and doesn’t feel cheap.
Satisfied? Yes — I smile every time I see it on my shelf.
US $39.36

KO MPM-11 Oversized Ratchet
This Oversize KO MPM-11 Ratchet has been on my wishlist for a while. I love Ratchet’s design, and this version promised more detail and size than the original.
What sold me: The alloy parts, upgraded paint job, and 1:1 scale with other oversized figures like Prime and Ironhide. It looked like the best Ratchet version out there.
When I got it: Shipping took 14 days. The figure was boxed and heavily protected. Ratchet is solid, with nice clicky joints and weathered paintwork that makes it pop.
Pros: – Alloy+plastic mix adds weight – Excellent articulation – Intricate sculpting – Looks amazing in both modes
Cons: – Some transformation steps feel overly tight – Minor paint blemish on a shoulder pad
US value: Easily would go for $90–100 on eBay. Got it for under $50.
Expectations? Met and then some. Feels like a premium figure.
US $69.33

HZX Superion H903 Combiner
The HZX H903 Superion Combiner is another 6-in-1 robot I couldn’t resist. I was hesitant at first due to the price — it was surprisingly low — but glad I ordered.
Why I ordered it: I needed an Autobot combiner to go with Bruticus. This one looked the part, and reviewers noted the G1 aesthetic and strong joints.
In-hand experience: Shipped in separate components. Took just under 3 weeks. Each bot transforms individually and combines into a towering Superion. Very cool design.
Pros: – Huge size – Clean sculpt and details – Good tolerances in joints – Upgrade parts included
Cons: – Some bots feel a bit hollow – No stickers or accessories
US price comparison: Similar sets go for $130+ domestically. This was around $55.
Did it deliver? Yes — very pleased with the result.
US $36.88

AOYI Devastator DD04
The AOYI DD04 Devastator 8-in-1 is one of the wildest figures I’ve owned. It’s enormous and mechanical-looking, with lots of engineering packed into it.
What attracted me: The sheer size and complex transformation — plus it comes pre-assembled, which was a plus.
Usage & quality: Took about 19 days to arrive. It’s a beast. Each vehicle mode is fun to play with, and combining them into Devastator is a fun challenge. Very articulated for a figure this size.
Pros: – Massive presence (well over 40 cm) – Vibrant colors and great sculpt – All joints hold well – Includes weapons
Cons: – A few loose connection points – Transformation instructions could be better
Compared to the US: At under $70, it’s a no-brainer compared to the $200+ US sets.
Happy with it? 100%. Great bang for buck.
US $7.16

AOYI Oversize Devastator 8-in-1
Yes, I got both AOYI Devastators. This AOYI Oversize Devastator 8-in-1 is a slightly different version — with more vibrant green and an even larger scale.
Why both? Wanted to compare — and I’m glad I did. This one leans more cartoon-style, which I really dig.
Arrival & feel: About 2.5 weeks. Super bold colors, better finish, and very smooth joint movement. Combination is easier than the DD04 version.
Pros: – Eye-catching look – Better tolerances – Larger head and weapons – Sturdier construction
Cons: – Some repetitive engineering across bots – Minor scratches on a leg
Price vs US market: Still cheaper than any domestic alternative.
Exceeds expectations? It did. Makes a great centerpiece.
US $7.32

BS-01 KO AAT Dino Movie 3
This KO BS-01 Dino Movie 3 Figure is a more stylized version of Dino. Not as accurate as the EC-01, but more dynamic and poseable.
Why I bought it: I liked the exaggerated design and the dynamic robot mode. Also, wanted to see how it compares to EC-01.
Out of the box: Took about 17 days. Really expressive sculpt. Less metallic, more plastic, but very poseable. Looks slick next to other Studio Series-style figures.
Pros: – Highly poseable – Stylish anime-inspired proportions – Good joint tightness – Comes boxed
Cons: – Not screen-accurate – Car mode is okay but not perfect
Value? Great for under $30. Would cost more on eBay or import shops.
Met expectations? Yes. It’s a fun figure with personality.
US $53.58

BAIWEI Dropkick TW-1033 KO SS46
Finally, the BAIWEI TW-1033 Dropkick KO figure. I was curious about this one because Dropkick never got a great figure from Hasbro, and this version looked wicked.
Why I got it: Needed a Decepticon to balance out my display. This one had great sculpt detail and came highly rated.
Unboxing: Took 2 weeks. Extremely detailed, with a glossy finish and sharp lines. Transformation was moderately complex, but satisfying.
Pros: – Unique sculpt – Solid vehicle mode – Strong joints – Nice oversized scale
Cons: – Paint chips easily – Some sharp edges
US price check: A figure like this would run at least $50–60. Paid under $30.
Worth it? Definitely. Dropkick finally gets the figure he deserves.
US $5.86
Overall Thoughts
Honestly, I’m surprised how consistently good these AliExpress figures have been. Out of 10 purchases, none were duds. I saved a ton compared to US prices, got some seriously cool pieces for my shelf, and enjoyed the entire process. Shipping was smoother than I expected, packaging was protective, and the toys themselves often exceeded expectations.
Would I recommend these? Without hesitation. And yes — I’ll absolutely be ordering more. AliExpress is now my go-to for Transformers collectibles.
