Gengar Shiny Plush Toy
I picked up this Gengar Shiny Plush Toy mostly because of its unique look and how well it’s reviewed on AliExpress. I’ve seen shiny Gengar merch go for ridiculous prices in the U.S., especially limited runs on eBay and collector’s sites. This one was a total bargain in comparison.
When it arrived, I was surprised by the quality. The stitching is tight, and the fabric feels way softer than I expected. It’s a good size—not too big, but not one of those tiny keychain types either. The eyes and smile are super vibrant, and the design captures that mischievous Gengar vibe perfectly.
Pros: Soft plush material, solid craftsmanship, bright embroidery. Cons: Took a bit longer to arrive than some other items (just under 3 weeks). Price comparison: Similar Gengar plushies in the U.S. cost $25–$35; this was under $10. Did it meet expectations? Totally exceeded them.

Psyduck Stuffed Figure
The Psyduck Plush Figure is one of those impulse buys I don’t regret at all. I grabbed it because of how well-known Psyduck is (and honestly, I relate to its constant confusion). I’ve seen plenty of knockoffs but this one had great photos and reviews.
Out of the bag, the toy looked just like the pictures. It has that classic dazed Psyduck face and it’s huggable and well-balanced. No weird smell, no loose threads, and it holds up well even after a few accidental tosses from my desk.
Pros: Iconic design, soft and durable. Cons: Packaging was a little wrinkled. Price comparison: U.S. stores want $20+ for similar quality. This was under $9. Did it meet expectations? Yes, even better than expected.

20cm Pikachu & Friends Plush Set (Pikachu, Raichu, Squirtle)
This Pikachu 20cm Plush Set came as a trio—Pikachu, Raichu, and “Jenny Turtle” (aka Squirtle). I ordered them for a Pokémon-themed birthday setup and they worked beautifully as decorations and gifts.
Each one is about 20cm, and the level of detail is amazing for the price. Pikachu’s tail is sturdy, Raichu’s ears stand upright, and Squirtle has this cute shell embroidery on the back.
Pros: Great set value, consistent quality across all three toys. Cons: Slightly thinner stuffing than expected. Price comparison: $8 per plush vs. $20+ per plush locally. Did it meet expectations? Yep—especially for themed parties or gifts.

10cm Cute Black Cat Plush Keychain
I actually bought two of these Black Cat Plush Pendants—one for my backpack and another for a friend’s birthday bag decoration. They’re compact (10cm) but super cute and really soft.
What sold me was the “Ins” aesthetic and minimalist face design. They look like mini designer plushies. The chain is solid, and I haven’t had any tearing issues even though I’ve been using one daily.
Pros: Adorable size, sturdy stitching, good zipper pull charm. Cons: Shipping was fast, but one had a slightly off-center face. Price comparison: $3 vs. $12+ for similar aesthetic plushies in boutique shops. Did it meet expectations? Definitely.

Cartoon Finger Puppets (Set of 10)
These Cartoon Finger Puppets were an early education gift for my niece. They came in a little plastic bag, no box, but each puppet was well made and clean. They fit adult and child fingers fine and make story time more engaging.
I picked this set because of the animal variety and because it was listed as a top seller with great ratings.
Pros: Bright colors, diverse characters, good for learning. Cons: Some minor glue residue on two puppets. Price comparison: $0.50 each vs. $2–$3 per puppet in U.S. toy stores. Did it meet expectations? Absolutely, they’re fun and functional.

20cm Plush Stitch Doll
This Plush Stitch Toy looks exactly like the Disney character, which is why I clicked “Buy” instantly. I was skeptical about copyright issues, but the toy itself is near-identical to what you’d find at a Disney store.
The color is rich, ears are symmetrical, and it’s cuddly soft. It came vacuum-packed but fluffed up quickly.
Pros: Disney-level detail, soft fur, good stuffing. Cons: Ears were a bit bent at first (fixed with steam). Price comparison: $9 vs. $30 at the Disney store. Did it meet expectations? 100%.

Gabby’s Dollhouse Mercat Plush
The Mercat Plush from Gabby’s Dollhouse was a gift for a 5-year-old, and it was a huge hit. She hugged it right out of the packaging. The stitching is excellent and the tail has a shiny sheen that makes it extra special.
This one feels like a legit branded plush. I chose it because of the character’s popularity on Netflix and the decent shipping estimates.
Pros: Bright, cute, and safe for kids. Cons: Arrived slightly squished but recovered. Price comparison: $11 vs. $25 in U.S. retail. Did it meet expectations? Yes—and then some.
US $4.56

Gabby’s Dollhouse 9-Piece Set
To complement the Mercat, I got the Gabby Dollhouse Plush 9-Pack. It includes the smiling cat, car cat, and a hugging Gabby figure, among others. I was worried about quality control with so many figures, but each one looked great.
These are smaller than the solo Mercat but perfect for pretend play. None had defects, and they’ve survived a week of active play so far.
Pros: Great value for a bundle, fun designs. Cons: Smaller than they appear online. Price comparison: $1.50 per plush vs. $5–$7 each in retail packs. Did it meet expectations? Yes, solid gift set.

Kawaii Animal Wrist Plush (Panda, Capybara, Fox)
These Kawaii Animal Wristbands were a wildcard order—and a great surprise. They’re soft, slap-on style bands with plush animal heads. Super popular with kids, and I even wore one to a themed party.
What caught my eye was the animal choice (especially the Capybara). These would make awesome stocking stuffers.
Pros: Fun design, adjustable size, soft fabric. Cons: Plush head stitching could be tighter. Price comparison: $3 each vs. $10–$12 U.S. equivalents. Did it meet expectations? For the price, yes.
US $4.94

Jenny Turtle Plush (Again in Pikachu Set, Ordered Solo)
Even though this Jenny Turtle Plush was part of the earlier 3-piece set, I ordered it again solo because I wanted one for myself (the other went to a kid). This solo version actually had better stitching and fluffier stuffing.
It’s adorable—shell detailing, little tail, and rounded limbs. Looks fantastic on my shelf.
Pros: Affordable, great finish. Cons: Slight delay in delivery. Price comparison: $8 vs. $20+ in stores. Did it meet expectations? Better than the trio version.
US $2.39
Overall Impression
Honestly, I expected at least a couple of these AliExpress plush toys to be duds—but every single one came through. The pricing is unbeatable compared to what I’d pay locally in the U.S., and most of them arrived within 2–3 weeks, which is fine by me for the savings. Quality across the board was surprisingly good, with only minor issues here and there. I’d absolutely recommend these if you’re into plush collecting, gift shopping, or just want affordable kawaii decor.
Will I be ordering more? You bet.
