WW2 Soldier Figures Building Blocks – Britain, US, German, French Army Infantry Set
I picked this WW2 soldier figure set because I’m a big fan of military history, and the variety of nations represented (Britain, US, Germany, France) was exactly what I was looking for. I wanted a diverse mix of mini army men to add to a display shelf and also share with my nephew who’s just getting into building blocks.
Delivery took about two and a half weeks to the US, which I consider pretty decent coming from overseas. Everything arrived neatly packed in small bags, with each figure disassembled but easily identifiable.
What I liked is how detailed each mini soldier is – printed torsos, different skin tones, a variety of weapons, and even unique headgear. I especially appreciated the attention to detail on the French officer figure and the classic British Tommy helmet.
Pros:
-
High-quality print for such a low price
-
Wide variety of characters and uniforms
-
Compatible with LEGO
Cons:
-
A few helmets were slightly loose
-
No assembly instructions (though intuitive)
For the $5–7 price range, this is a steal compared to $20+ sets you’d find in the US that only include 3–4 similar figures. It definitely exceeded expectations, especially considering the variety and detail.
US $1.18

Mini Military Guns & Pistols WWII Accessories Set
This WWII miniature weapons set caught my eye because I already had a bunch of figures that needed proper weapons. The listing had an insane variety: rifles, pistols, bazookas, grenades—pretty much an entire arsenal.
Shipping was standard, a little under three weeks. The items came in a ziplock-style bag, and nothing was broken or bent.
Impressions: Every weapon was perfectly scaled and detailed, some even better than those from premium US brands. I used these to equip my figures and organize a mini armory display.
Pros:
-
Massive variety of weapons
-
High compatibility with existing minifigs
-
Realistic molds
Cons:
-
A couple of pieces had excess plastic (easy to trim)
-
Slight chemical smell out of the bag
At around $3–4, this is way more cost-effective than US-based options where a single weapon pack can be $10. 100% met my expectations, and I’d rebuy in a heartbeat.
US $0.99

WW2 German Navy & Infantry Soldiers Set
I went with this German Navy and Army officer set because I wanted to flesh out the Axis side of my collection. The naval uniforms especially intrigued me — not something you see often in brick figures.
Delivery took about 18 days, which was quicker than I expected. The figures came in individual compartments and included everything shown: guns, maps, and caps.
The quality is top-tier. The naval figures with their white caps and binoculars looked straight out of a period film. The print on the uniforms is crisp and unique to each figure.
Pros:
-
Great mix of naval and infantry figures
-
Impressive historical uniform accuracy
-
Included accessories like radios and maps
Cons:
-
Some hats fall off easily
-
No female figures (wish they’d include more diversity)
Cost-wise, far cheaper than anything in the US market—I’d estimate similar sets here would be $25+, and I paid under $9. This one definitely delivered.
US $1.24

-
Functional wheels and chain
-
Good build quality
-
Detailed accessories like jerry cans
Cons:
-
Instructions were in Chinese, but pictures were clear
-

WW2 German Zombie Medical Corps
I was skeptical about this zombie medical corps set, but curiosity got the better of me. It’s historically twisted, sure—but also kinda fun for Halloween dioramas.
Took about three weeks to arrive. The figures are well-made and weird in the best way.
The zombie faces are wild, with pale prints, blood smears, and bandages. Some had medical kits and arm slings. They’re definitely more creative than standard troops.
Pros:
-
Unique and bizarre theme
-
Good mix of accessories
-
Surprisingly detailed
Cons:
-
Not for historical purists
-
A bit niche in usage
Still, for under $5, it’s a fun addition to my growing collection. Met my expectations, and I’d probably get a second pack.

Final Thoughts
Honestly, I didn’t expect everything I ordered from AliExpress to be this good. Each item had its own surprises, and for the price, the value is outstanding. Most products either met or went beyond what I hoped for, especially compared to overpriced US sets. I’d absolutely recommend these to fellow collectors or parents looking for budget-friendly alternatives. And yes, I already have more in my cart.
