🦴 Ryuk & Rem 23CM Death Note PVC Figures
This was my first pick, mostly because I’m a huge Death Note fan and couldn’t resist the Ryuk and Rem pairing. The product looked solid in the photos and had great reviews, so I gave it a shot.
What pulled me in: The character details looked exceptional. For a 23cm figure, the face sculpt on both Ryuk and Rem looked pretty faithful to the anime. Also, I liked that both figures were included for the price.
My experience: Out of the box, these had a surprising level of detail. Ryuk’s grin and posture nailed his creepy vibe, and Rem’s armor-like body texture was spot on. The paint job was clean — no sloppy lines or weird discoloration. I placed them on my bookshelf and they immediately became conversation starters.
Pros:
-
Accurate design and proportions
-
Sturdy base — no wobbling
-
Arrived in good protective packaging
-
Delivery was fast for AliExpress: 13 days to the US
Cons: – Not posable (but I knew that going in) – The base is very basic, just plain black
Price vs. US: In the States, similar collectibles go for $35–$50+ each. I got both figures together for under $30 — that’s wild value.
Expectations: Exceeded. Honestly, I expected them to be a little flimsy. Instead, they’re quite durable and sit proudly with my official merch.
US $3.02

🍎 Ryuk & Rem 23CM Statue (Duplicate)
I ended up ordering a second set by mistake. I planned to return it, but once it arrived, I actually kept it for my office desk.
Why I kept it: Same reason as above — they just look awesome. And it’s rare to find decent Rem merch anywhere, let alone for cheap.
Impressions: Just as good as the first. No defects or differences, which says a lot about quality control.
Pros:
-
Still affordable
-
Paint and mold consistency
Cons: – Again, base could be improved – No box art, just plain packaging
Price vs. US: Still unbeatable.
Expectations: Consistent quality. Keeping this as a backup or gift for a fellow fan.
US $3.23

🧛 Ryuk & Rem Halloween Edition PVC Statues
These seemed slightly different from the first set, advertised more as Halloween figures, so I gave them a shot too.
Attraction: The listing emphasized their darker tone and slightly more exaggerated expressions. I was curious to see if they’d have a creepier look.
Use: These figures actually do have a more stylized feel. The paintwork is more matte and darker, which gives them that eerie aesthetic. Perfect for my Halloween shelf display.
Pros:
-
Great for seasonal decor
-
Slightly different sculpt details — Rem’s face is sharper
-
Shipped in under two weeks
Cons: – Ryuk’s base was slightly tilted – Some glue visible under Rem’s arm
Price vs. US: Still way cheaper than even Funko Halloween exclusives.
Expectations: Mostly met. Some small QC issues, but nothing major.
US $1.17

🕷 Ryuk & Rem Variant – Creepy Collector’s Set
Another set in the same 23cm category — yeah, I went a little Ryuk-crazy. This one promised more “collector model” vibes.
Why I bought it: The sculpt looked bulkier, and the gray shading on Ryuk was different than the others. I figured, why not compare?
Experience: These were heavier and had more detailed shading on Ryuk’s body. Rem also had a glossy finish, which I’m not a fan of, but it stood out from the matte sets.
Pros:
-
Unique paint textures
-
Slightly heavier, feels more premium
-
Packed in foam — nice upgrade from bubble wrap
Cons: – Rem’s glossy finish may not appeal to everyone – Slight factory smell initially
US comparison: Easily a $40 figure in-store. I paid less than $20.
Expectations: Better than anticipated. Especially the foam packaging.
US $1.31

🎃 21CM Ryuk & Rem Anime Figures – Holiday Set
These were marked as holiday gifts and seemed perfect for seasonal decorations.
What drew me in: A lot of users mentioned these were good as Xmas gifts, and I liked the idea of a themed display.
Impressions: Same excellent mold, just slightly smaller than the 23cm versions. Color scheme is a bit more vibrant, which made them pop on my desk.
Pros:
-
Nice gift size
-
Well painted, especially Ryuk’s face
-
Cheaper shipping cost
Cons: – Smaller than expected (21cm vs 23cm is noticeable) – No gift box included, despite the listing vibe
US equivalent: Would cost $25+ for this size. I got them for around $13.
Expectations: Met. They’re fun and would make great stocking stuffers.
US $1.95

💀 21CM Ryuk & Rem Duo – Collector Edition
Basically the same as the previous, but ordered from a different seller just to compare quality.
Why I did it: Wanted to test seller consistency on AliExpress.
Result: Nearly identical product, though this one came with slightly looser joints on Ryuk’s arms.
Pros:
-
Still a good value
-
Vibrant colors
-
Good for shelf or desk display
Cons: – Minor QC variance from previous set
Expectations: Met, but slight differences show it’s worth picking a seller with high reviews.
US $2

🔎 23CM Death Note L & Ryuk Action Figures
This was the first one I ordered with L in the set, and I was pumped.
What caught my attention: The L figure had a really expressive face, and I loved the relaxed, casual pose — very L.
Experience: L came out great. The jeans texture is insane for a budget figure. Ryuk here is smaller than in the other sets but still well done.
Pros:
-
Dual-character value
-
L looks spot-on
-
Textured paint really sells it
Cons: – Ryuk’s arm is a bit stiff – L doesn’t stand as securely without support
Compared to US: You’re not finding a set like this for under $40 here. I paid $18.
Expectations: Surpassed. L was the surprise hit of my whole haul.
US $2.41

🧠 18CM L & Ryuk Classic Anime Set
This one is a bit more cartoonish than the other L & Ryuk set.
What attracted me: The stylized look — almost like an early 2000s toy vibe. Gave me nostalgia.
Impressions: A little less detailed, but really fun. L is chunkier in design, Ryuk’s face more exaggerated.
Pros:
-
Fun, toy-like design
-
Lightweight and good for kids’ room
-
Very affordable
Cons: – Not collector-level detail – L’s paint job on the shirt had a few smudges
Price vs. US: This is more like a $10-$12 toy here — I paid $6. Absolute steal.
Expectations: Met for a budget display figure.
US $8.94

🧸 9CM Q-Style Ryuk, Light, MisaMisa Mini Figures
Okay, these were adorable. I don’t usually go for chibi-style figures, but these were too cute to ignore.
Why I clicked Buy: Hadn’t seen MisaMisa in any of the other sets, and the Q-version big heads just made me laugh.
Experience: They’re tiny, but the faces are so well done. Light’s expression is hilarious. They don’t stand super well on their own, but with a dab of tack, they’re fine.
Pros:
-
Super cute
-
Unique characters not in other sets
-
Great for gifts
Cons: – Bases are flimsy – Very small, even for “mini”
US equivalent: $8–10 each — I got the trio for under $9.
Expectations: Absolutely met. A pleasant surprise.
US $6.32

📏 10CM Ryuk, L & Light Mini Set – SD Style
This was my last-minute impulse buy to complete the set.
Why I grabbed it: Wanted one more fun-sized set for my work desk.
Experience: Very similar in style to the previous Q-version set. Slightly taller and better base stability. Great expressions.
Pros:
-
Compact but expressive
-
Includes all three main characters
-
Stands better than the 9CM set
Cons: – Some uneven paint on L’s hair – Light’s eyes a bit off-center
US comparison: Would easily pay $15–20 for this SD-style set here.
Expectations: Met. Makes for a great desktop set.
US $4.22
💬 Overall Impression
Ordering all ten Death Note figures from AliExpress turned out way better than I expected. Every figure arrived safely (and fairly quickly — 12–16 days on average). While there were small QC variations between sellers, the value for money blew my mind. I probably paid a quarter of what this haul would’ve cost me in the US. Most items exceeded my expectations in sculpt quality and detail.
Would I recommend them? 100%. Just choose top-rated sellers. Will I order again? Already eyeing the Near & Mello figures next. General verdict: AliExpress is a goldmine for anime collectibles — if you know what to look for.
