🎮 FOREVER DUO GAMES 852-in-1 Cartridge (Black/Gold Shell)
I picked up this 852-in-1 NES game cartridge mainly for nostalgia and convenience. It promised 405 + 447 unique games, all packed into a sleek black and gold shell, with a 1024Mbit flash chip. The idea of ditching multiple old carts for one all-in-one deal was too tempting.
The cartridge worked right out of the box on my old NES clone. No adapter needed. The game list is mostly classic 8-bit titles with solid performance—no lag, no graphic glitches. There’s even a handy UI menu for selecting games, which I didn’t expect at this price point.
Pros: ✔️ Huge game library (many well-known NES titles) ✔️ Good quality shell and PCB ✔️ Fast delivery (about 2.5 weeks to the US) ✔️ Works on both PAL and NTSC systems
Cons: ❌ A few repeats among the 852 games ❌ No save function for most games
Price vs US: I paid under $20 on AliExpress—this would’ve cost me at least $45+ on eBay or Etsy.
✅ Expectations fully met. Very impressed.
US $19

🎮 UPGRADE CHIP 852-in-1 NES Cartridge (Red Shell)
I bought this one because it claimed better support for game saves and improved chip performance. Plus, I wanted a second cart for a backup NES console.
Build quality is top-tier. The red shell feels solid, and the cart loads fast. Game selection is slightly different from the first one—some hacks and rare titles added in.
Pros: ✔️ 72-pin format fits original NES ✔️ Slightly better performance on larger ROM games ✔️ Recognizes more controllers/joysticks ✔️ Smooth menu navigation
Cons: ❌ Save support only works on select games ❌ Some ROMs are in other languages (Japanese)
Price vs US: Paid $19.99. Comparable carts in the US are $50+.
👍 Absolutely worth the money.
US $16.65

🎮 SUPERIOR 852-in-1 Gold NES Cartridge
This version came in a full gold shell, and I bought it because I’m a sucker for limited aesthetic editions. It promised a high-speed 1GB flash chip.
I tested this on both my top-loader NES and an AV clone console. Works flawlessly. Load times feel slightly snappier, though maybe that’s placebo.
Pros: ✔️ Gorgeous gold design ✔️ Fast load times ✔️ Great mix of classics and obscurities ✔️ No lock-out chip issues
Cons: ❌ Again, no save support ❌ Game names on menu sometimes scroll too fast
Price vs US: At $21, it’s unbeatable. You won’t find this shell style easily stateside.
✅ Exceeded my visual and performance expectations.
US $21.99

🎮 THE NEWES 2025 FOREVER 852-in-1 Cartridge
This “2025” edition intrigued me because it claimed an updated ROM list and UI. The seller described it as an “optimized flash chip for modern NES clones.”
Once I popped it in, I noticed the UI had a black background and improved game categorization. Nice touch! Games are still 8-bit classics, but I liked the added hacks.
Pros: ✔️ Modern UI ✔️ Improved categorization ✔️ Better compatibility with modern TVs (no flicker)
Cons: ❌ A few bootloops until I cleaned the pins ❌ Not much difference from 2024 edition, honestly
Price vs US: For $18, it’s still a better deal than $45+ US prices.
✔️ Slight upgrade; good if you don’t own a multi-cart yet.
US $15.39

🎮 N8 Plus OS-V1.23 NES Remix 1000-in-1 Cartridge
I wanted a true flash-based Everdrive-style NES cart, and this N8 Remix version claimed to support 1000 titles with OS-based navigation.
The user interface feels way more advanced than regular multi-carts. You get folders, sorting, and even save/load states on a few games. Booting is fast and works on both my NES clone and an HDMI mod console.
Pros: ✔️ Near-Everdrive experience ✔️ Game folders and UI menu ✔️ Good mix of Japanese/US ROMs ✔️ Some save support
Cons: ❌ UI can lag when scrolling ❌ Doesn’t always remember last played game
Price vs US: Paid around $28—this is a STEAL compared to $80+ Everdrives on US sites.
🔥 One of the best NES clone cartridges I’ve tested.
US $42.15

🎮 AV/HDMI NES Mini Console with 600 Games
This is one of those plug-and-play NES Mini clones with both AV and HDMI out. I bought it for travel and casual couch gaming.
It came with two controllers and boots instantly via HDMI. The 600 games aren’t 100% unique—lots of repeats—but for family fun or quick play sessions, it does the job.
Pros: ✔️ Plug and play with HDMI ✔️ Decent controller response ✔️ Small and lightweight ✔️ Ideal for kids or guests
Cons: ❌ Many repeated games ❌ Plastic feels a bit cheap
Price vs US: $21 on AliExpress vs $40+ for similar ones on Amazon.
🎉 Didn’t expect much, but it’s perfect for what it is.
US $17.04

🎮 N8 Everdrive Remix Flash Card (China Version)
I got this one to experiment with homebrew games. It’s an Everdrive knockoff but offers a very similar interface and OS. It also lets you manage your own ROMs.
It runs flawlessly with a TF card, and I love how easy it is to add or delete games. Works just like a Genesis flash cart I already own.
Pros: ✔️ TF card support ✔️ Clean UI ✔️ DIY ROM management ✔️ Durable shell
Cons: ❌ Doesn’t support Famicom games out of the box ❌ Needs FAT32 format only
Price vs US: $25 compared to $90+ for an original Everdrive. No-brainer.
✔️ Big win for tinkerers.
US $45.82

🎮 DUO GAMES 2025 Edition 852-in-1
Another updated variant with “2025” branding, this time in a black case. I bought it as a gift for a friend who just got a retro NES.
Performance-wise, very similar to earlier DUO versions, but this one had slightly more rare Japanese exclusives. UI is clean and easy to scroll.
Pros: ✔️ Excellent gift option ✔️ Great game library ✔️ No compatibility issues
Cons: ❌ No big upgrade from older versions ❌ Game numbering isn’t always accurate
Price vs US: Under $20, and honestly, this beats any retro bundle on Etsy.
👍 Reliable and fun.
US $26

🎮 Little Samson 72-Pin NES Cartridge
I got this because “Little Samson” is crazy expensive in original format. This repro cartridge claimed full game fidelity, and I wanted to test it.
Booted immediately. Graphics and gameplay match original footage I’ve seen online. For collectors on a budget, this is a godsend.
Pros: ✔️ Faithful reproduction ✔️ Smooth gameplay ✔️ Authentic NES form factor
Cons: ❌ Label slightly off-center ❌ No save function
Price vs US: $12 vs $400+ for an original. Insane.
🎯 Met expectations 100%.
US $11.38

🎮 REMANK EVERGAME N8 Multi NES Cartridge
Bought this mostly out of curiosity. It claimed “Super NESN8 FC support” and looked like an alternate N8 version with a different ROM set.
Surprisingly good interface, stable game performance, and most games booted fine. Definitely not as fancy as the real N8, but fun.
Pros: ✔️ Unique ROM library ✔️ Good compatibility ✔️ Reasonably priced
Cons: ❌ UI text is a bit glitchy ❌ Few games crash on boot
Price vs US: Around $23—fair enough for what you get.
🙂 Good secondary cart.
US $26.96

🎮 REMANK 1500-in-1 NES N8 Plus Cartridge
I was skeptical about the “1500 games” claim, but for under $25, I had to try it. Turns out, about 900 games are unique, and the rest are minor hacks or duplicates.
Still, the menu is well-organized, and it plays on both top-loader and side-loader NES models.
Pros: ✔️ Huge ROM library ✔️ Acceptable UI ✔️ Plug and play
Cons: ❌ Many ROM hacks ❌ Some crash bugs
Price vs US: Best value if you want sheer quantity. Easily $60+ in US markets.
🕹️ Not perfect, but great for casual retro gaming.
US $4.62

🎮 FOREVER DUO GAMES 852-in-1 (Repeat Model)
Yes, I bought a duplicate version of the first one to keep as a backup. Same black/gold design. This one’s going into my travel console kit.
Tested it just to be sure—yep, same solid performance, even the game order matches.
Still awesome. Having two is better than one.
US $18.15
✅ Final Thoughts
Overall, I’m genuinely surprised by how good these NES cartridges and consoles turned out. AliExpress shipping was faster than expected, prices were a fraction of what I’d pay in the US, and everything worked out of the box (with minor pin cleaning). If you’re into retro gaming, especially 8-bit NES, these products are a steal. I absolutely plan to buy more—maybe a Famicom version next time.
