🎬 Magcubic HY310 Android 11 4K Projector
I’d been looking for a compact home theater projector that didn’t break the bank, and the Magcubic HY310 instantly caught my eye. With native 1080p resolution, Android 11, voice control, dual-band WiFi, and autofocus—on paper, it promised a lot more than what you’d get at this price in the US.
The delivery took 12 days, which was faster than I expected for a non-local seller. It was well-packaged, with no damage, and came with an air mouse remote, which is a big plus.
Using it was a pleasant surprise. It auto-focuses within seconds, the image is bright (330 ANSI lumens feels like a fair claim), and the Android 11 OS is snappy. Streaming apps like Netflix, YouTube, and even Plex worked without hiccups. I didn’t have to connect any external stick.
Pros:
-
Super compact and lightweight
-
Clean Android OS with full app support
-
Autofocus and keystone correction are quick
-
Air mouse remote is intuitive
-
Built-in speakers are decent for indoor use
Cons:
-
No zoom function
-
Fan noise is slightly noticeable in quiet scenes
-
No Netflix HD certification (runs in SD)
I compared this with similar mini projectors on Amazon, and this model would easily cost around $180–$220 in the US. I got it for under $120 on AliExpress. Worth every cent.
Met expectations? Exceeded them.
US $8.99

🖼 KaiAqua Anti-Light Grey Projection Screen (100-Inch)
This KaiAqua anti-light screen was chosen for its promise of brighter visuals in non-pitch-dark environments. I watch movies in a semi-lit room, so I needed something more reflective than standard white cloth.
The fabric arrived folded but straightened out after a few days of tensioning. The reflective grey surface genuinely improved contrast. Blacks looked deeper, and daylight scenes popped more.
Pros:
-
Anti-light feature works!
-
Great contrast improvement
-
Lightweight and easy to mount
-
Seamless with 100-inch size
Cons:
-
Folds leave creases at first
-
Needs proper stretching for best results
Compared to a US silver screen at Home Depot or Walmart, this is easily $40–$60 cheaper. I paid around $25 for this on AliExpress.
Met expectations? Yes, and perfect for ambient light setups.
US $34.37

🖼 ZDSSY Metal Anti-Light Reflective Curtain
I bought the ZDSSY screen as a secondary option for outdoor use with the same projector. It’s advertised as having a high gain reflective surface and was surprisingly good for nighttime viewing.
The metal-like coating definitely boosts brightness. I used it for an outdoor movie night and was impressed—vibrant colors, better viewing angles than I expected, and it looked more expensive than it was.
Pros:
-
High reflectivity
-
Very good brightness and color accuracy
-
Foldable, lightweight, and portable
Cons:
-
Doesn’t come with hooks or mounting accessories
-
Not ideal for daylight projection
Price-wise, this would be $50+ in US stores. I paid under $20.
Met expectations? Definitely.
US $11.9

Pros:
-
Excellent uniformity
-
High gain material
-
Perfect for 100-120 inch setups
-
Works well even with cheaper projectors
Cons:
-
Slightly heavier than others
-

🖼 Portable White Grid Anti-Light Screen (133-Inch)
For big gatherings, I went with this 133-inch grid screen. The white grid fabric is unique—it helps improve even light diffusion and the anti-light coating reduces glare.
This is the most “cinema-like” screen I own now. It folds small, sets up quick, and looks fantastic with a high-lumen projector.
Pros:
-
Huge immersive size
-
Minimal ghosting or light bleeding
-
Surprisingly even surface texture
Cons:
-
Large size needs multiple anchors
-
A bit heavy for single-person setup
Cost me $32. Comparable US options cost $90+.
Met expectations? Absolutely.
US $4.59

Overall Opinion
Honestly, I went into this AliExpress haul expecting a mixed bag. But nearly everything turned out better than expected. The Magcubic projector alone was a gem, and the variety of screens let me test different setups—home theater, outdoor movie nights, presentations, and gaming.
Delivery times were decent (averaging 10–15 days), and all items were well-packaged. I saved a ton compared to buying similar items in the US.
Would I recommend these? Absolutely—if you’re willing to wait a couple of weeks and don’t mind stretching fabric onto a frame. I’m already eyeing a 150-inch screen next.
US $14.99
