☂️ Mini Folding UV Sun Umbrella
I bought this mini five-fold sun umbrella because I was tired of big, clunky umbrellas taking up all the space in my bag. This one looked incredibly compact, and the UV protection was a big selling point, especially for summer walks or surprise showers.
It arrived in about 14 days, neatly packed and undamaged. First impression? It’s tiny—about the size of a soda can when folded, yet when opened, it’s sturdy enough to shield my shoulders and face completely. The UV-blocking lining is real, not just a gimmick. I walked under direct sun, and it genuinely felt cooler underneath.
Pros:
-
Ultra-portable — fits in any small bag
-
Solid UV protection
-
Smooth open-close mechanism
-
Cute design (I picked the black with pastel lining)
Cons: – Not for heavy wind or torrential rain – Handle is short (tradeoff for size)
Compared to similar travel umbrellas in the US that go for $20–$35, this one cost me less than $10. That’s impressive. It totally met—and even exceeded—my expectations. I’ll be taking it everywhere.
US $6.3

🌸 5ml Mini Perfume Atomizer Bottle
This refillable perfume spray bottle caught my eye because I hate lugging around full-size fragrance bottles while traveling. I picked up a set of three in different colors.
The quality of the aluminum casing is surprisingly good—feels high-end. Filling it was easy using the bottom valve pump, which didn’t leak at all. I’ve refilled them three times already, and they still spray evenly with a fine mist.
Pros:
-
Leakproof, sturdy
-
TSA-friendly size
-
Comes in different colors to identify scents
Cons: – You’ll waste a bit of perfume during first-time filling – A bit hard to clean between scents
Similar bottles in US stores are usually around $8–$12 each. These were under $2 per piece. Excellent value and exactly what I wanted.
US $1.16

☕ Wireless Portable Espresso Coffee Maker
I wasn’t sure what to expect with this wireless espresso machine for travel, but I really wanted something I could take on road trips. I chose this one because of its compatibility with capsules, ground coffee, and its rechargeable battery.
It came well-protected, with an English manual and charging cable. After charging it fully, I tested it with a Nespresso capsule—worked like a charm! Coffee came out hot, with crema on top. The battery lasted me 4 brews on one charge.
Pros:
-
3-in-1 compatibility (pods, grounds, etc.)
-
Good coffee temperature
-
No need for an external power source
Cons: – Water tank is small (~80ml) – Takes 5–7 minutes to brew fully – Can be noisy
For $40, I got what would easily cost $90–$120 in the US. It’s now a staple in my travel bag.
US $40.76

🧂 Sink Organizer & Tap Shelf
I needed to clear the clutter around my kitchen sink, and this spice rack/sink shelf combo seemed like a smart solution. It claimed to fit most standard taps and required no drilling, which I appreciated.
Installation took less than 5 minutes. It grips firmly to the pipe and holds items like soap bottles, scrubbers, and even spice jars without wobbling. The drainage holes at the bottom help keep things dry.
Pros:
-
Saves space on the counter
-
Quick installation
-
Waterproof & easy to clean
Cons: – Not suitable for thick/wide faucets – Plastic feels lightweight (but hasn’t cracked)
Cost me around $7. Similar US kitchen shelves are $15–$25. It looks neat, works well, and I’d recommend it if you’ve got a compact kitchen.
US $4.32

💅 YIKOOLIN Nail Dryer Lamp (USB)
As someone who does gel nails at home, I picked up this mini nail curing lamp because it looked portable and USB-powered. It showed up in 12 days, lightweight and ready to plug in.
It cured my gel polish surprisingly well. Each finger took about 45 seconds, and full hands around 2–3 minutes. It’s not as powerful as a salon lamp, but for quick fixes or travel, it’s perfect.
Pros:
-
Small and rechargeable
-
Cures base and top coat with no overheating
-
Great for beginners
Cons: – Not ideal for full manicures daily – USB cable is short
It was around $5—hard to beat. In the US, you’d pay $15–$25 for similar quality. I’m honestly impressed.
US $2.4

🎨 Ombre Nail Sponge Set
I wanted to try some creative nail designs, so I ordered this 150-piece ombre sponge set with pens included. The quantity felt like overkill at first, but it’s ideal for experimentation.
These sponges are soft, absorb polish well, and make it easy to achieve a clean gradient effect. The included “grabber pens” help you avoid smudging.
Pros:
-
Excellent for DIY nail art
-
Tons of sponges
-
Easy-to-use tools included
Cons: – Sponges are single-use (but expected) – Slight learning curve for beginners
Paid less than $5. In the US, even 30-pack sponge kits cost more. I’m getting salon-style nails at home without the price tag.
US $1.84

🧴 Stainless Steel Cosmetic Tray (Oval)
This oval stainless steel tray was a simple buy to organize nail tools and tweezers. I liked the sleek, minimal look and it turned out to be really functional.
It’s durable, non-corrosive, and wipes clean instantly. I keep it on my desk for cosmetics and on my bathroom shelf for small tools. Looks professional, almost like something from a clinic.
Pros:
-
Multipurpose
-
Durable & rust-proof
-
Stylish matte finish
Cons: – A little smaller than expected – Not stackable with others
I paid under $3. US equivalents go for $10–$15. It’s a steal and I plan to buy more for other rooms.
US $2.6

🧼 Square Stainless Steel Storage Tray
I got this square stainless steel cosmetic tray to pair with the oval one. It’s more compact and works better for small items like rings, cotton swabs, or nail clippers.
It has the same sturdy quality as the oval tray, and I actually prefer its flat edges for aligning items. I also tested it as a key tray by the door—works perfectly.
Pros:
-
Space-saving
-
Multi-use
-
Industrial-chic design
Cons: – Prone to fingerprints – Can slide on smooth surfaces (use non-slip pads)
Again, for under $3, it’s unbeatable. Comparable trays at Target or Amazon start at $10. Love it.
US $2.81
Overall Verdict
I honestly wasn’t expecting to be this satisfied. Delivery for all items ranged between 10–18 days, everything was well-packed, and the quality across the board was better than I anticipated. These 8 items cost me way less than what I’d have spent in US stores, even accounting for shipping. If you’re selective and read reviews, AliExpress is absolutely worth it. I’ve already added more items to my cart for next time.
